The main objective of this professional integrative project (PIP) is to demonstrate the practical
application of two predictive maintenance techniques widely used in various industries such as (fruit,
paper, Oil & gas, among others).
The work is structured in two main parts, namely:
A. Theoretical Framework: The physical-mathematical foundations that govern the
operation of the selected predictive maintenance tools are addressed.
B. Practical and Experimental Section: The actual application of the tools is carried
out through inspection and measurements on operational industrial equipment located in the
provinces of Neuquén and Río Negro.
Where the practical process was developed in the following phases:
I. Industrial Inspection: Various industries in the region were inspected to identify and
record in detail the equipment that makes up their inventory.
II. Measurement and Recording: Pertinent measurements were carried out on the
selected equipment, using predictive maintenance tools.
III. Report Preparation: Finally, a complete report was generated that documents the
anomalies detected in the equipment and specific recommendations were established on the
maintenance actions that the organization must implement to optimize its operation.
