Se resume la información obtenida durante las Campañas de Investigación Oceanográfica Golfos NORPAT 05/2008 (noviembre de 2008) 6/2009 (octubre de 2009) en el ámbito geográfico del Golfo San Matías. Se realizaron 23 estaciones de muestreo en la campaña de 2008 y 18 en la campaña 2009. En cada estación se obtuvieron registros de variables físico-químicas de la columna de agua con diferentes sondas, se colectaron muestras de agua para determinaciones de laboratorio de clorofila y nutrientes y se realizaron lances verticales de zooplancton e ictioplancton con redes tipo Hensen. Se obtuvieron registros de la abundancia y distribución de mamíferos marinos a lo largo de la transecta del derrotero realizado por el buque en la campaña.
This paper summarizes the information obtained during the NORPAT Gulfs Oceanographic Research Campaigns 05/2008 (November 2008) and 6/2009 (October 2009) in the geographic area of the San Matías Gulf. Twenty-three sampling stations were established during the 2008 campaign and 18 during the 2009 campaign. At each station, records of the physical and chemical variables of the water column were obtained with different probes, water samples were collected for laboratory determinations of chlorophyll and nutrients, and vertical casts of zooplankton and ichthyoplankton were made with Hensen nets. Records of the abundance and distribution of marine mammals were obtained along the transect of the route followed by the vessel during the campaign.
